I have been working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

There were many opportunities to learn and build on already existing skills.

Cons

There were many changes in leadership while there but my biggest issue was with their supposed commitment to diversity. So many people of color came and went after similar frustration. I felt abandoned after years of service.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk the talk. If you really want to improve diversity in the organization then be committed to assisting staff in working through issues.

I have been working at Cincinnati Children's Hospital full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Patient population, co-workers, opportunity for growth and participation

    Cons

Salary not entirely competitive, health insurance is expensive and decreasing in value, and there is no matching plan for retirement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Yearly raises should be more accessible. Current review system is aimed to decrease raises, and cost of health insurance keeps rising. Benefits are not as great as they are portrayed to be, e.g. matching retirement plan.
