Pros

This company takes care of the partners that work for Cintas. Great experience and the pay and benefits are awesome. We have the highest quality of products and services and no other company is close to us. We really do put the customers first before anything.

Cons

The only thing close to a con is it is hard to manage time

Don't expect to have a life outside of your job at Cintas

    Pros

Steady work, liveable pay and cool coworkers a good place to learn a big lesson about Corporate behavior. Any job you take after Cintas will feel like a dream job.

    Cons

Cintas can care less about their partners. You are not allowed to have either a life outside of work or an opinion. If you have either of those you will be retaliated against. The atmosphere is that of fear and high stress. Non compensated OT is expected. The customers you call on hate you and treat you very badly. You will have something of yours (including your car ) stolen or broken into as theft is rampant. Only company cheerleaders are promoted and once promoted you can expect to work even longer hours. HR uses social media to conduct witch hunts. You are expected to work sick so you will become ill from coworkers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't take a leadership job if you don't understand the business. Don't take a leadership job if you have no people skills. Stop using STCs salaries to manage paying hourly partners OT. Walk your talk, and hold people accountable. Open door means open door. Making pretty charts and graphics does not make you a leader. Stop encouraging tattletales and that kind of environment. Human resources means human resources not the grand inquisitor.

I worked at Cintas full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Four day work week. Being out on your own without someone breathing down your throat. Four day work week!

    Cons

    -Unstable pay.
-Pay plans that are always changed & restructured for the companies gain, not yours.
-Health care costs go up every year with benefits that fall.
-Trucks ALWAYS break down, very little to no maintenance done on any of them.
-Poor management. This seems to be the trend from the corporate level down, take a look on this site, you will definitely see a pattern.
-You will be left on your own to explain why you don't have any product for your customer, don't expect management to help you. Trucks are ALWAYS short product ranging from clothes (yes they loose clothes) mats, rags, towels, mops, etc.....basically what the customer pays for.
-Sales people will lie lie lie and you will have to pick up the pieces, it's usually not pretty! Most of the time they will overstock/sell products to get their commission percentage up but the driver almost always takes a hit in pay.

This is what Cintas boils down to......
*It is all about the bottom line here. They get as much as they can for as little as possible. (This should be their motto.)
    *You're just a number. Don't think for a minute you're not!
    * If you really care about the job & the customer you're going to be miserable. If you are ruthless, have no morals and have extreme patience then give it a shot, it could be for you.

Look, the economy is terrible right now & if you need a job, take it. The pay can be good at some times but there are a lot of factors way out of your control to keep it good. Do not expect it to stay the same as it's a commission based salary..........I would strongly recommend to keep your options open & the resumes out there, it is very easy to feel stuck & hopeless after a while.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You know what you do, what your company is about and maybe who you were before this company brain washed you. Bottom line, bottom line, bottom line! Nothing else really matters does it fellows?
