    Cintas First Aid & Safety, going from customer to customer selling bandages and aspirin to customers who don't want any.

    I worked at Cintas full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    The only pro I can think of is that you have a little freedome while on route, it's more like running your own business, except when you make a decision that your supervisor doesn't like you get disciplined.

    Cons

    Sales goals are unrealistic. If done correctly the customer suffers from a higher bill every 3 months indefinitely. Commissions are great sometimes but if you make an extra sale your goals go up even more next month. In a way you are punished for selling more than expected because no one can always sell more and more each month to the same exact customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Place more emphasis on your customer's needs rather than the shareholder's stock prices. It was very evident that all the newer employees felt like the corporate culture that was preached upon at hiring was no where near the reality of the objectives of the company.
