I have been working at Circle K full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

There is something new happening every day, it's not a boring job, it keeps you active, you do not spend your time sitting on a chair. You learn a lot and the work atmosphere is good. The pay is decent compared to other retail companies.

Cons

Having to work 6 days a week.
Having to be on call 24 hours.
Company does not pay for cell phone or gas - which are both used a lot for work purposes.

Circle K is not a terrible employer, as far as convenience stores go.

I have been working at Circle K full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Circle K helped me to grow from a minimum wage job to a career in management. They promote from within the company, making it possible for someone with no college education, like me, to be successful.

    Cons

Circle K does not treat their lower level employees, like cashiers, very well. They have high performance expectations for low pay. And their benefit package is terrible for store employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay these poor cashiers more! Or at least give raises more often, maybe performance based? I get paid pretty good, but my employees do not.
