I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

They hire talented people, pay them well and give you great flexibility to set your schedule.

    Cons

There is nobody in the office. Everybody is "working" off-site and since they are not really working they are not avaible to help you or even respond to an email.
The mass layoffs are not done. Another set is loooming.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make people come into work. Hold them accountable for working with others, not just finishing their assignment.

I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Stable company. You don't expect fire works.

    Cons

The company is past its prime days. Many Indian Managers at the Low to Mid level battling out for their career advancement. Many decisions are based on
    1. What is in it for me ?
    2. Will this project me good to the higher ups ?
    3. How can I block the other guy who seem to be going ahead in the race ?
    4. I got the power, how can I show it to guys below me

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back some diversity in Low to Mid Level Management.
