Not the company it was, but good career opportunities

Senior, Director, Engineering (Current Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsCisco has many opportunities to move your career forwards, they make it easy to move around inside the company. The overall compensation is very good and the employee benefits are excellent compared to most other companies.

ConsBig company processes (extremely slow), big company politics (and egos) and not too many exciting opportunities if you like to innovate.

Advice to Senior ManagementEliminate the silo mentality, GM's are only about their own P&L, they don't work with other GM's for the betterment of Cisco as a whole.

Learn how to bring innovation back into the company.
