    Pros

The caliber of worker is generally good and people are respected for the good work they do.

    Cons

Hard work and being the most technical doesn't always equal the highest pay or promotions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less administration and micro management. Let us focus on selling and not on checking boxes.

I worked at Cisco Systems full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent team players as well as supportive management. No micro-management, excellent corporate structure and no shortage of intelligent people. Very well respected by clients and industry peers.

    Cons

Doesn't know what to do with L4-L7 or consumer based products, such as ACE and WAAS, even eCDS. Routing and switching, UCS, are its sweet spot - let the F5's, Riverbed's, Aruba, and others fight it out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management rocks !!!
