“Not what it used to be”
Current Employee – been working at Cisco Systems full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Good 1st line managers and good salary/benefits.
Cons – Too much organizational hierarchy and red-tape. San Jose headquarter thumbs its noses at other sites. Too difficult to get your opinions heard.
Advice to Senior Management – Cisco is stagnating. Bring back the innovation by empowering the technical employees and reduce all the red tapes of upper management.
