    Pros

    - Interesting and challenging work
    - They treat their people with respect
    - They are constantly trying to improve how they do business

    Cons

    - Constant reorganization - On the plus side though they do this to best align their resources with market needs, so other than the angst it creates for the people affected, this is not such a bad thing. They invest in areas that appear to have the best growth/margin opportunities, while cutting back in slower growth or lower margin business areas. The reorgs are not not company wide, and are focused in specific areas of the business, which varies with time, so this should not be misconstrued as poor management. It's exactly the opposite. I believe we have excellent senior management. They are constantly evaluating how to change and adapt, which allows the company to stay relevant with customers, and to grow their overall business. Ultimately, that is good for both the company and employees.

    Advice to Management

Invest some more in the US, otherwise keep doing what you're doing.

  2. Great Company but its time for CEO to move on.

    Pros

Great company, lots of diversity, lots of opportunity to learn new technology, chance to work with new product before released, and its Cisco. The company has potential with the right leaders in place and will continue to grow.

Rush to put products out to market pre-maturely before thoroughly tested and results in numerous of bugs and updates which leads to lower customer retention.

    Cons

Too many meetings, too many layers of management, too many processes, too many wrong leaders steering the company in the wrong direction.

Need to have more quality control testing for all products prior to FCS.

The board of directors needs to be completely overhauled, the chairman and CEO should not be the same person, and its about time for Cisco to get a new leader. JC has done great for the company and got it back on track and most likely, Cisco would not be Cisco if its not for JC. The time has come to hand the reigns over to a new CEO, elect a new chairman, elect an entirely new board of directors and take Cisco to the next level.

Cisco has the potential to dynamically change the landscape of technology but that starts with a new vision, new pair of eyes that's engineering driven.

    Advice to Management

Replace the board of directors since they are a sleep at the wheel.
