Former Employee – worked at Cisco Systems as a contractor for more than 3 years
Pros – Cisco Systems is a well-run company, with reasonable compensation, fair and productive reviews, and fairly good morale. Problems are fairly quickly addressed, and overall management is quite good.
Cons – The company is so large that it's easy to become type-cast into doing a single thing.
Advice to Senior Management – See if you can drum up the excitement of 1999.
