Current Employee – been working at Cisco Systems full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Challenging and fulfilling work
Competitive compensation
Great benefits - gym, daycare, on-site health center, excellent coverage for fertility treatment & adoption, and many incentitives to stay fit and give back
Flexible schedule with work from home and other locations option
Cons – Can be long hours if you don't self-manage your time
Not as much investment in outside professional development as I'd like
Advice to Senior Management – Stay competitive with compensation... especially with top performers who should be a 1.0 or above comp ratio! Invest more in professional development for people... even make it mandatory to ensure development is taken seriously.
