    Pros

Great place to work. Also great place to learn technologies with the flexibility to move internally within other product groups.

    Cons

Change is hard in a big company like cisco. Especially old timers are averse to change when it comes to better software development practices.

I have been working at Cisco Systems full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Enjoy working on cross functional global teams - love the CVO 9Cisco Virtual Office) solution for telecommute. Great supportive colleagues.

    Cons

Feels a bit too tight in the new collaborative office space. Not everyone is comfortable with telecommute. Probably right choices with lay-offs last year, but still tough on everyone who left and who stayed.
