Pros

Working with my colleagues. Nice and knowledgeable. There are still some very bright people trying to make the best product they can.

Cons

It becomes bigger and bigger. Therefore, not as good as what it was like several years ago. Lot of bureaucracy

Advice to Senior Management

Reduce the overhead caused by too many levels of management, and make the work environment more efficient. Improve open communication.

Cisco is the sh*ttiest company I have ever worked for. The management is incompetent.

Although Dan Scheinman used to be CSCO's previous head M&A honcho, and I'll say that he's single-handedly responsible for some of the worst in-bound acquisitions to date. His junior right-hand man was CSCO's current joke of a Corp. Dev. head - Ned Hooper - who is responsible for the laughable Pure Digital/"Flip" (aka. "Flop") acquisition, a product that will be obsolete and get piled down to the ground by the Apple iPhone and the like.
