Pros

Benefits like 20 days of PTO; Good 401K match; ESPP; Wide variety of work and exposure to a lot of different technologies; Experience favorably viewed outside the company; Good work-lief balance.

Cons

Slow and too much red tape in they do; Not enough emphasis on keeping employees happy; Trying to do too many things until recently; Not "cool" enough for some! :)

    I worked at Cisco Systems

    Pros

Very experienced managers, smart folks, security, company is not going to disappear in a few years. Stock is doing well, salary increases

    Cons

I am not sure whether Cisco is a "hip" place to work anymore. There is a lot of security, but if you were to go to Stanford campus, you won't really hear people dying to work there.
