Nice people, not too much pressure. You learn a lot if you really want to. Flexible working hours and friendly people.

Pace is a little bit slow. However you don't need to work overtime often.

    Pros

Big company with work in various technology areas and opportunities, but you have to make personal effort to take advantage of that. Good benefits.

    Cons

Difficult to get promoted even if performance is very good.

    Pros

Great people to work with. Good products

    Cons

Growth in the networking market is not as fast as it used to be. It seems like restructures and consequently lay offs have become an annual thing. The company is not as innovative and agile as it once was.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees more. Don't be scared to take calculated risks and try new business approaches or new things in general. Let the emotes help. Breakdown the layers of management between the execs and the individual contributors. There are too many layers.
