English speking people might not fit in in Citarella

Cashier (Current Employee) East Hampton, NY

ProsEasy work and they give you good hours.

ConsPeople talk to you in Spanish even if you speak none.
Employees aren't treated with respect.
I just started, and I have to ask for days off 2 weeks in advance minimum.
They won't let you go home if it's an emergency.
The lunch break is 1 hour, which you don't get paid for, and you have no say in when you want it.
Might not have the ability to eat for hours.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen interviewing employees, make sure the employee gets to meet the manager at least some time after the interview.
Hire more English speaking people.
Be more respectful to the employees and their personal lives.
Make sure the employees are fine with their schedule.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
