I have been working at Citi full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Met great people who became lifelong friends in my training class at Citibank.
    Nice cafeteria.
    Childcare on campus.

    Cons

Pay rate, (terrible) starting out with 11.75 hourly.
    Disorganized.
    Unethical at times.
A ton of technical issues mainly related to disorganization within the company pertaining to training of new hires (Personal Banker's One-Stop)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become more organized. Pay employees better. Starting pay should be a minimum of at least $13.50 hourly for all that is expected and the length of the training (which was 5-6 month).

OK, but the AML dept hires too many underqualified people

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great work/life balance, ability to work from home multiple days
    Skip level meetings are encouraged
    Voice can be heard

    Cons

    Red Tape
    Highly bureaucratic
Important depts such as IT is too decentralized (to fix PC issues, expect a week wait time for results)
Process Improvement takes way too long
Pay increases are minimal to non-existent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The AML dept is a mess, don't continue to hire underqualified people without a banking background or office experience. The mess and disorganization of AML comes from those who are not familiar with working in a professional office environment.
