Pros

The training schedule is well thought out. I also enjoyed working with people from different branches and positions. It allowed for me to get tips on how to do my job well, as well as what other people will be going through.

Cons

Because of training being mixed, some items on training menu may not apply to your position and seem like a waste of time. A lot of the training materials need to be updated as well.

Advice to Management

Update training methods to reflect current business practices.

    Pros

The opportunities are vast and wide at Citi. On a daily basis, one has the privilege of working with people sitting right next to them, and around the globe. In my experience, I have gotten the opportunity to help set up new call centers, call recording technologies, and manage software development projects for one of Citi's largest strategic programs.

    Cons

It is difficult at times to see how the scope of your individual assignment plays out in the larger picture of what Citi is doing as a whole.

    Pros

Met great people who became lifelong friends in my training class at Citibank. Nice cafeteria. Childcare on campus.

    Cons

Pay rate, (terrible) starting out with 11.75 hourly. Disorganized. Unethical at times. A ton of technical issues mainly related to disorganization within the company pertaining to training of new hires (Personal Banker's One-Stop)

    Advice to Management

Become more organized. Pay employees better. Starting pay should be a minimum of at least $13.50 hourly for all that is expected and the length of the training (which was 5-6 month).
