I have been working at Citi full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Excellent vacation time, some amazing employees with passion and drive.

    Cons

Extremely political, VOE is lip service, poor pay and NOT based on meritocracy, catering to underperforming employees but failure to support the management that is being held to the standard that we hold our employees to. Very poor morale. HR favoritism and having to learn how to keep your mouth shut when you see something wrong/unethical.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at the bigger picture. Pay your people what they are worth, listen to their concerns, take a day and spend it doing their job....retain and reward your employees for their hard work.
