Citi is in retransformation mode

Director (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsLots of interesting challenges.
Plenty of smart intelligent people.
Concensus oriented.
Massive global footprint.
Seemingly infinite resources to get anything done that it wants to accomplish as a goal.

ConsMassive - so many functions are redundant.
Too many people doing nothing, so it's ineffecient at times.
Too slow to move and action, so opportunities that require quick decision making and action are lost to the more nimble.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe culture is constantly improving, but more improvement is needed with respect to the way people are treated.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
