I worked at Citi full-time (more than an year)

Pros

- Some friendly staff to work with

Cons

-Career progression is slow. Promotion is determined by number of years in the company.
-Hard work done is rarely recognized and rewarded.
-In some areas, people employed purely because of friendships outside of the workplace, though that person may not be qualified.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

More open communication to all levels of staff.
Employ Equal Opportunity Office to manage unfair conduct/mistreatment of staff, and provide objectivity in office conflicts.

I worked at Citi as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Good at making it look like they are the bees knees

    Cons

All is not what it seems, they take people on who are FoaFoaF (Friend of a Friend of a Friend) and from their outsourced partners in India, and pay them peanuts and if you are not of the same background you are going nowhere! They just expect you to take all the crap they throw at you and give you a crappy Citi pre paid card with £50 on it for Xmas bonus BOLLOX!
