I have been working at Citi full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Flexible Work Schedules, Remote Work, Vacation/Sick/Holiday time all paid

Cons

Expensive benefits, They say that they offer competitive salaries.....not so much! Little to no award recognition, communication business and company wide is a 1 out of 10, with 10 being the best.

Advice to Management

There needs to be more truth to job postings in terms of compensation, and job requirements. Many jobs that I have worked, required much more than what was listed. in addition, do not say that there is opportunity for career growth/promotions, if there isn't. Also...it's been a few years since the big bank recession...time to start compensating employees with both merit raises and bonuses.

I worked at Citi full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

+ Some of smartest and most driven middle management I've worked with. + An excellent and robust technological development force. + Their pay is pretty decent. + Room for professional and personal growth.

    Cons

    - Technology support is almost backward. - Bureaucracy turns any business decision into an event, and forces the entire company to change directions like an opium-addled, lumbering giant. - Office politics can spell the end of advancement opportunities if you don't get behind the "right" people.
