I worked at Citi full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Ability to work from home is a great plus (if your career allows it). I worked for Citi for 12 years. Worked for many different IT teams. Learned a great deal of technical skills.

Cons

The pay "stops" at a certain level. You are lucky if they do not take away a portion of your pay at your annual review.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't call people on the phone with a one minute phone call to tell them they are a victim of "Redundancy"... Very unprofessional...

Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Citi full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Large organization with lots of resources that will make your job somewhat easier.

    Cons

Bureaucratic, high stress, with little compensation rewards the past few years. Cost cutting, layoffs and shifting of job functions overseas lowering morale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show some loyalty to your employees by actions and not just words on power point slides. Cut costs by moving senior level executives to lower cost regions instead of just first level staff and middle managers.
