Perhaps they don't understand the meaning of the word "benefits"

    Pros

    * If you're looking for a career move in a direction you've never travelled before, it's totally do-able. Just suck at your existing job. Rather than pay to get rid of you, they'll move you into an unrelated role. What? You mean people actually train for accountancy roles!
    * If you're looking for a promotion, it's also quite easy to achieve. Just talk a lot about how awesome you are and what a great job you're doing. Actual doing any work is overrated.

    Cons

The “special” pricing laid out in the extended benefits plans were carefully negotiated to display maximum disdain for Citi employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Why change now? It's worked for 200 years.

    Neutral Outlook

A lot of good, hardworking people have left especially on the equities side

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good basic salary package. Good admin and IT support system. Good opportunity to build and establish contacts with clients and senior people in the industry.

    Cons

Senior management do not really know what is going on and not much direction or focus as to where the business is heading. There are "snake" colleagues around (so beware) and the sad thing is management continue to ignore bad peer review comments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to open their eyes wide and treasure the good, hardworking ones instead of employees who are just good at talking only.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
