I worked at Citi as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is decent and competitive
Very friendly team, took me out to lunch/dinner a few times, and I could talk openly with them

    Cons

Their culture is quite disorganized, especially with how they work with summer analysts
People are not exactly the brightest or best

  2.

Getting better, but a lot of politics and nepotism

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, competitive pay, but could be better. Folks are talented, but nepotism needs to be squashed.

    Cons

A lot of managers who move up because others quit, not because they deserve the role. Too top heavy, too many MDs and Directors who don't warrant the title in the post 2008 financial industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a meritocracy, force better cross sell between businesses. Too busy fighting internally to look at big picture
