I worked at Citi full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good money if you like doing sales.

    Cons

Told that it was customer support. Then when put on phones, told that it was all sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would be nice to tell potential candidates exactly what they are getting into when getting a job with you. I was told that it was a customer support job and was later told that customer support is the last thing you should think of and focus on making upsells. Not everyone is a sales person.

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lot of talented people and wealth of knowledge to learn and grow.

    Cons

Senior management lacks directions. Very poor cultural norms. Only way to receive salary raise is to leave the company and comeback again. Too much emphasis on outsourcing and offshore resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop promoting your favorites. When talent employees are not appreciated, rewarded and treated like a slave, they will leave.
