I worked at Citi full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Health Benefits, Cafeteria on site was great, excellent training program that provides you a tremendous amount of knowledge of the banking industry

Cons

Salary, Office Culture, Management difficult to work with. Given false hope for advancement opportunities that never became available. Inability to be flexible, too big for their own good. Decision makers don't understand the life of a lower level employee and that is evident by their actions.

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Generous holidays, some great people to work with.

    Cons

Inept management. No advance possibilities. No life/work balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are driving all good people away with your punitive (and ineffective) management. Good leadership is not encouraged, but punished. If you don't believe me, then why were you not able to hang on to any good CIO that took the job in Digital?

I have been working at Citi full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Big company, so you can really try new roles over the course of a few years. There is no limit to jumping from one department to another as long as you build a good network.

    Cons

Big company, so office politics are a big part of your day to day. It also takes a long time to get things accomplished, so you can work here for a while and not have much tangible to show for it.
