    Pros

Global presence with solid brand name. Ability to learn from a variety of talented individiuals with a wide range of backgrounds.

    Cons

It's a very large institution. Climbing the corporate ladder can be tough. Sometimes the hierarchy makes it difficult to advance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management team at Citi is very bright. They are aware of all the details in every aspect of a deal and strive to make the best out of any corporate action.

I have been working at Citi

    Pros

    Work Life Balance is great.
    Work from home is encouraged.
There are many intelligent people ot learn from.
If you are a proven asset, there is little micro managing. As long as you produce.

    Cons

There is little in the form of real training. If you have talent there is little in the form of mentoring/grooming. Unless you are real lucky.

Unless you know someone, or you have a good manager, promotion may be difficult. compensation is very bad (3% a year???).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase compensation. If someone gets a certification or their master's or acquires skills, give them a reason to stay. There is no incentive to improve one's self.
