Not a good experience

Store Associate (Former Employee) Florence, SC

ProsAny job is better than nothing...

ConsBad District Manager- Says she is going to find a new store manager, and had been saying it for months, never did.

Bad Manager- The manager is as bright as a burnt out light bulb. She would immediately talk bad about you as soon as you leave the store. Liked to turn employees against each other. She also lied through her teeth all the time. If you called out sick, she would cut your hours for the following week.

Minimum wage pay
no employee discounts.
Customers are rude 90% of the time
You work your butt off and no one gives you feedback.

Advice to Senior ManagementFirst off, treat everyone with respect and stop being two faced. second, Make sure to use at least some common sense.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Definitely a learning experience, and it is what you make it, I grew in a positive manner from the experience.

First Assistant (Former Employee) Marietta, GA

    I worked at Citi Trends

Pros: Depending on your experience the pay is negotiable, which is good if your a good talker. They offer lots of incentives and monetary… Cons: They will cut associates down to 4hrs/week if sales are down; not good if you need a consistent amount for bills and things week to… Advice to Senior Management: Try to get back in touch with the consumer you are targeting. Put yourself in the place of some of your Associates, you cut their hours… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
