Pros

big company, lots of internal postings.

Cons

they don't necessary promote the best person for the job. They rather hire new graduates from top name school with no experience with a B/A degree like history or english than promote people from within.

Advice to Senior Management

focus on HR!!!!! You have to have the best people to do that job. Not the prettiest looking one.
