I worked at Citizens Financial Group as a contractor for more than a year

Pros

Very understanding and flexible, very good people to work with. Felt no unbiased opinions from managers

Cons

Could be a little slow paced, little confused with overtaking of charter one and being taken over by RBS as to what policies to abide by

I have been working at Citizens Financial Group

    Pros

Lots of good people, and some interesting changes coming through the pipeline for Citizens

    Cons

These black-and-white policies regarding the customer experience are a huge over-generalization of what it really means to create lasting relationships within the confines of an often bi-weekly conversation, in passing, with otherwise unruly customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Micro-manage your managers, not their employees.

I worked at Citizens Financial Group as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

The training was very helpful. We were in charge of notifying current Citizens employees of their benefits during Open Enrollment. The people I worked with were fun.

    Cons

Not a very exciting atmosphere. People seemed afraid that they were going to lose their jobs. People looked down on the contracted employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to make the place more exciting.
