I worked at Citrus Memorial Hospital

    Pros

They have a very competent rehab team and I enjoyed working with them.

    Cons

Poor treatment of employees with legitimate illness.
They don't follow their own policy and procedures very well.
Poor coverage for employees when they are ill.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start caring a little more about your employees and a little less about how much money is going in your own wallet.

I worked at Citrus Memorial Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fellow nurses, for the most part, were awesome! It was the best part of working there. Nurse to patient ratio 6:1. Acuity was not factored into patient load.

    Cons

Management. Pay. Always seemed to be short staffed. CNA's were usually left with half the floor (20 pts) and nurses with their full loads would have to pick up the slack. Left for unsafe conditions for the patients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat you people with respect! Be fair, do not play favorites, give timely evaluations, always do exit interviews so that you might learn how to improve your management techniques to increase overall employee satisfaction and retention.
