If you can avoid it...

ProsProximity to the city (wouldn't really call it... being in the city... per se)
Colleagues (b/c they know what you are going through)

ConsLimited resources (capital and others)
Poor & unorganized management
Hard to come by appraisals for your job and effort
Unsafe working environment

Advice to Senior ManagementUnfortunately, the working atmosphere is like "everyone is out for themselves" & "look out for your own good" mentality from the upper management downwards. So it just makes you feel the same, no "team" effort here.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Pros: Some faculty members are friendly, though not all. Cons: A lot of politics that consumes a lot of energy that could have been used in better… Advice to Senior Management: Must have better connection/relation with department chairs No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

    Pros: As long as you are competent, you'll go far. Cons: No health benefits, no paid office hours for one class. Advice to Senior Management: Ask us for input about *anything*. Talk to us about what is going on… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
