I have been working at City College of New York

Pros

Proximity to the city (wouldn't really call it... being in the city... per se)
Colleagues (b/c they know what you are going through)

Cons

Limited resources (capital and others)
Poor & unorganized management
Hard to come by appraisals for your job and effort
Unsafe working environment

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unfortunately, the working atmosphere is like "everyone is out for themselves" & "look out for your own good" mentality from the upper management downwards. So it just makes you feel the same, no "team" effort here.

I have been working at City College of New York

    Pros

Some faculty members are friendly, though not all.

    Cons

A lot of politics that consumes a lot of energy that could have been used in better things.
Some people are totally detached from reality and think they are at MIT!
    Quality of students is low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Must have better connection/relation with department chairs

I have been working at City College of New York

    Pros

As long as you are competent, you'll go far.

    Cons

No health benefits, no paid office hours for one class.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ask us for input about *anything*. Talk to us about what is going on in the college. Adjuncts are relegated to knowing things last and get the least benefits.
