I have been working at City Colleges of Chicago part-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Good salary and ample holidays and vacations.

Cons

Incompetent CIO and IT directors. Extremely obsolete technologies (PS Student Administration APP is almost 20 years old). Political and toxic working environment. All real IT work is outsourced to expensive third-parties with no results but a waste of taxpayers money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

College-wide meetings' agendas & intense professional development must included all staff; not only full time instructors.
