Pros

The community bank environment allows employees to really interact with customers, people are friendly, not treated as just a number.

Cons

Monetary compensation and lack of bonuses, despite the company growing the salaries do not, very conservative attitudes, rigid management, hiring based on church politics rather than knowledge and capability

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Drop conservative values and hire people who will do more for the bank and be competent at their jobs

    A lot of room for job mobility in comparison to the more renown financial institutions.

    Cons

    Pay is not competitive. Archaic systems. Turn-over rate is very high.

    Pay your employees accordingly; the cost to retain your hard-working employees will benefit you in the long-run.

    Pros

    The co-workers were great and it seems we all felt the same way about our management which was they didn't have a clue what they were doing

    Cons

    Very few tools for the bank to succeed i.e. advertising, ability to email to customers, and very few ATM locations for the customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you want to run it into the ground keep doing what you're doing.
