“okay if you need a job, but no good for a career”
Current Employee – been working at City of Columbia, MO
Pros – -Stable income
-low expectations
-benefits are okay if you are single (if married with children you will pay through the nose)
Cons – Little to no upward mobility (unless you are part of the good ole boy network)
poor pay raises, next to no chance to reach the top of your pay grade
Advice to Senior Management – Consistency in all actions would be nice. Close loopholes that allow individual managers to make up rules. Hold management to higher standards, rather than just try to fill positions.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
