I worked at City of Seattle as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

Great source of information and collaboration
Progressive atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable, upholds a great customer service reputation, understanding and willing to help the intern and teach about how the organization works

Cons

Management style leaves something to be desired, often felt that my time was wasted by being pulled into meetings that weren't directly important to my job, often was expected to complete tasks but was not provided with the appropriate tools (ie. a car to get to events, etc..) but was still expected to complete the work.
