Unbelievably disorganized. Poor leadership at mid level management on up.

Account Manager (Former Employee) West Hollywood, CA

ProsStill people there that want to see it succeed and have provided many ideas which sadly have fallen on deaf ears.

ConsBusiness development leadership is weak, business, product and sales did not interact well with each other. CityGrid and CitySearch salespeople spend 30-50% of their time filing and following up on bug tickets. No coherent mobile strategy whatsoever, Yelp and Foursquare have successfully passed them over in terms of relevance.

Advice to Senior ManagementOutline a cohesive business strategy and stick with it going forward, your place is stocked with talented people most of which you have sadly laid off as you have completely lost touch with who does and does not perform to the requirements of their position. Product, Business Development, Engineering, and Sales Leadership need to be placed on the same page and held accountable. The CEO who's based in Los Angeles should have an office in the same building. He was never in the office and it sucked the morale out of the place.

Pros: One of my best paying jobs Cons: They don't screen some of the people they promote to… Advice to Senior Management: Conduct more drug testing on your employees. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More

Product Potential, Excellent Training.. Poor Management

Field Sales Representative (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

    I worked at Citysearch

Pros: Excellent benefits, amazing training, flexibility in daily schedule, easy product to sell. I loved working with clients… Cons: Management. Everyone knows that Sales is a numbers game. Yet, behind the number, is a sales person making that goal happen. Whenever a sales rep… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
