Current Employee – been working at Clear Channel
Pros – Casual atmosphere and casual dress
Newsroom co-workers are friendly and supportive
Never have to take my work home with me
Cons – Employee morale is awful
NO raises or cost of living increases
Health insurance costs continue to rise
Inequality among employees, many are treated much better than others
Limited ability to grow or be promoted
Advice to Senior Management – Improving employee morale would in turn improve the overall environment and make employees much more eager to continue producing a quality product. There are glaring inequalities among employees and its difficult for those who are "lower on the totem" pole to see management bend over backwards for those in contracted on-air positions.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
