I have been working at Clifton Gunderson

Pros

Overall benefits of true work life balance, respect of opinions, growth of employees through training and experience. The size of the company allows benefits of a regional firm with the feel of a smaller firm. You are not one of the numbers, your opinion is valued and considered. Promotion based on level of ability and not years of experience.

Cons

No true downsides less the accounting industry itself. Same areas of focus are the same as in any accounting firm such as time constraints, deadlines and so on. The pay and benefits may be less than other firms, and less than the big 4, however the freedom allowed and true work life balance more than compensates for these items.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The same feed back for any Sr. managemet - ensure that growth of the people and clients is first.

I worked at Clifton Gunderson full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I like the traveling to different cities for work and meeting other people from the other offices.

    Cons

You would only get a Friday notice you were traveling for 2 to 4 weeks and you fly out on Sunday. Not any time to get ready and organize a sitter.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees when they try to work with you about traveling since we have children and pets.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
