Clorox – “Ops Planner”

Pros

Great people, products and experiences. Lots of activity and opportunities to distinguish yourself. You get to make a positive impact on recognizable brands and make connections with people across different functions.

Cons

Clorox is undergoing a culture change. Hard to tell how it will end up. Upper management has been criticized for failing to change. Now it seems they have listened and some employees are upset about how things are changing. I do not know how it will all shake out, some good people have been cast away as part of the transition. I hate to see them go.

Advice to Senior Management

Keep working on communicating to all employees and increased vigilance about mangers actually acting per your communications. Some times the executive communication does not match what managers actually do. Reward people who speak the truth, not what you want to hear.
