I have been working at Co-operative Group

Pros

There are some great people working there, and you can have some incredibly fun shifts.
Most of the customers are terrific, making a shift incredibly pleasurable.

Cons

Management constantly promise promotions, but never deliver.
When doing work at the level of a more senior colleague, the difference in pay is not paid.
There are colleagues that sponge off the system and do not pull their weight.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

When promise a promotion, do not delay month after month.
Review the Human Resources department, and make them more pro-active when dealing with sub par staff.

I have been working at Co-operative Group

    Pros

    Discount on shopping, retail hours

    Cons

No praise, under paid, no reviews on performance, open to late, high wastage on food products, bad management,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use some of your big profits to pay your staff more for more return business, and to keep your staff happy. More on reviews for staff performances and promotions. And to praise staff more.

I have been working at Co-operative Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Well, the branch I work at in Rosehill, Morden is an amazing store and and really enjoy the work environment and the store itself. I also particularly enjoy working along side my work colleagues as well.

    Cons

The only negative, is that working at this store, does kind of become your life and it is difficult to find space and time to do things that are important in your personal life. Work and schedules kind of take over everything.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think to ease the problem, it would be a good idea to increase the number of staff employed at our store.
