The pay is pretty good for Research Associates who are basically getting $40k for entry level work.
Cons
There's no respect between upper management and employees. Tenure means nothing. The company will fire an employee who's been working there for years without even a second thought. The biggest problem with the company is that they like to do periodic firings where they'll come up with some bogus reason to go after people, and then they'll go on a witch hunt. Usually these firings happen right before or right after there's a training class. They like to purge the rosters, to get people in there doing the same job for cheaper.
Advice to Senior Management
Get your act together. If you're going to set metrics, stick to them for more than a quarter. Also, when making goals/metrics, it would be nice if people could understand what goals they needed to attain. As it stands right now, nobody knows what is being scored and what isn't. The weekly metric spreadsheets are a joke, you need a PhD in Mathematics just to understand what's on them. Treat your employees with respect. Clients are starting to get wind of the crap that's going into the database, so watch out, more cancellations to come!
