CoStar Group – “Close more cancellations than sales”

The benefits package is decent and some of the other sales reps are personable. The CRM system is easy to use and even tracks when you go to the restroom...as a sales rep, they like to tape all of your telephone calls.....and they even call your clients back to ask them if you really had a meeting there....good times!!
Cons
Another paltry comp plan where you are not paid even when the company collects revenue. They are currently taking in more cancellations than new sales so the product is not as valuable to commercial realtors as CoStar would like to think it is. The last 8 months have been the worst in the company history and no signs of a turnaround.
Advice to Senior Management
The price of the products should not be the same in Louisville as it is in NYC or any of the smaller markets....Outside of the top ten markets, prospects laugh and jeer at the pricing proposal. Continue to hire failed commercial brokers as your sales reps and watch earnings continue to slide. Why would a good former commercial broker want to work at CoStar for $50k a year? Seriously, think about it....
