I have been working at Coach part-time for less than a year

Pros

There are many great things about coach as a whole. The employee discount is great when shopping for yourself. Store is very flexible when it comes to hours and scheduling.

Cons

The constant influx of merchandise and having to package and ship the old. We spend a lot of time just rotating through seasonal items.

    I have been working at Coach full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Stand up reputation, quality products, seasoned employees who believe in their company.

    Cons

    New store opening, obviously some kinks to work out...because of the many new store openings occuring, resources were a little short between people, supplies, shipping,etc. Especially right before the Christmas season.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Not so many store openings right before the holiday season. I think this also affected proper training for the new management team.

    I have been working at Coach full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - 50-65% employee discount
    - guaranteed 10-15% bonus structure at year end
    - employee enrichment through development courses

    Cons

    - poor management structure (too many executives dictating initiatives, not enough employees to implement them)
    - lack of recognition and growth opportunities
    - deadlines and process often disregarded

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Senior management in need of assessment (too many underqualified directors running teams that they lack knowledge in)
    - more sensitivity towards work life balance when setting unrealistic deadlines
