I have been working at Coca-Cola Company

Pros

Vacation Time (3 weeks)
Not tied down to an office
World Known Brand

Cons

Transition from company car to personal car.
Sales team is too lean and can never hire the amount of people actually needed.
Holding other departments accountable.
Work-life balance. Lots of hours required. You would think that we are selling life-saving medication.
Too many Chiefs. Ways of execution and going to market frequently change.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You seriously need to reconsider the transition from company to personal cars. This is costly and you are about to lose a large piece of your sales force. Your people drive your bottom line. Don't forget that.
Also, you need to get more aggressive with price points.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

    It's a job
    benefits offered
    weekends off

    Cons

long hours to complete the unrealistic expectations of management. nearly no home time except to eat and go to bed. 14-16 hour days in the trade.
taking away of company cars, we computed the out of pocket after their pittance and with mileage, maintenance, gas, car payment and insurance we will exceed what they pay by $3000 a year. in essence paying to work for the company.
consistantly late paying the "bonus" they have insisted is part of regular salary. They stay on the sales managers yet incompetence is tolerated in other facets of the organization, and even rewarded.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

do your own version of "Undercover Boss", not those silly "trade rides" that you do. Get up at 5am get in a vehicle and work all the accounts in an account managers day till complete, not just till you are ready to go home, because they dont have that luxury, and do it for an entire week, then set your goals and expectations,
