Pros

The Coca-Cola brand name! Fairly good benefits. Minimal supervision allows some freedom in servicing accounts. Getting a great workout and getting paid for it.

Cons

The way overtime pay is calculated is obscene. Don't go over 40 hours or you will wind up getting rewarded by receiving minimum wage for your extra effort. Conditions are really bad. Their is no air condition in many of the trucks operating in the Arizona desert which means you will be exposed to the heat for 10 to 12 hours a day. Be prepared to go to hospital for dehydration and then be written up for not staying hydrated.

Advice to Management

Take care of your employees before someone dies. Let employees have more input in situations regarding their routes. Stop all the stupid directives that seem to change by the day or week. Also, take a good look at company policies. For instance, grandchildren aren't covered under the emergency leave or funeral leave as paid, but grandparents are. Another example would be if an employee gets hurt and is off on medical leave that employee should still be able to apply for other positions in the company that the employee may be able to do. Sometimes injuries make it next to impossible to return due to the physical demands of the job. If a employee wants to apply for another position because the physical demands can no longer me met they should be allowed to do so on disability leave or not.

    A job with no career path provided

    Cons

    No mobility, no matter how well you perform.

    Advice to Management

    If you would just pay your people, based on performance & not low ball like the entire industry know you do, then you would retain the best and brightest. Soon as economy turns people will leave in droves.

    Pros

    Great benefis packages if you are allowed to take advantage of the benefits that are offered to you. Also, great employee forums.

    Cons

    Leadership makes decisions without input from team members who will be implementing strategies. Managers are manipultive and dishonest. Growth opportunities seem to be limited. Lack of respect for personal space within the office.

    Advice to Management

    Increase familiarity with day-to-day business operations before summarily making decisions. Show more respect for employees and avoid the "because I said so" style of management. Understanding that a title does not make one a leader.
