I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Best brands in the world with some really smart people in the rank and file

Cons

Some CCNA divisional leadership has been here too long... good ole boy/girl club with a lot of empty suits.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Commit to learning and development, hire the right number of people to get it done, operational cost management is a tool not a solution - taking away car programs, benefits increases, lack of flexible working hours is problematic and does not keep pace with the modern world.

Coca-Cola has the best brands but bad decisions are killing worker engagement and business results.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company

    Pros

Competitive pay and above average benefits. As others have said, we take a lot of pride in what we do. It's not an easy work environment but it can be rewarding.

    Cons

There is a huge difference in company culture depending on which division and area you work. If you have difficulties excepting change, Coca-Cola is probably not a good fit for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Local management does not always adhere to the company's core values.

I have been working at Coca-Cola Company full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Vacation time is good (3 weeks).
    Insurance is good
Stable job if you can put up with management.
    Pension

    Cons

Pay is not on par with direct competitors. I made more (Merchandiser) starting part time several years ago then what is paid to part time workers now.
Management and supervisors are ok at best.
Diversity is what the company is looking for not actual qualified workers.
A lot of dead weight in the company.
Sales and Service do not work together.
Many issues could be fixed with simple communication.
This place needs to join a union.
    Dead end job.
Full time Merchandiser starts at $13/hour. Same position at Pepsi starts at $16-17/hour.
Part time Merchandiser starts at $11/hour.
They will drag their feet over giving a full time position.
The attitude of management is be happy you have a job.
No consideration of your personal life. You live to work!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The job was better when Steve Bale and Van Jarrett was there. I could talk to those two if I needed to but now I couldn't tell you who is who anymore since the turn over rate is so high.

Mandatory safety meetings that have nothing to do with our job is a waste of time.

Instead of sitting behind a phone all day go out and try to fix problems.

Employees should not be treated like they are expendable.
