Coca-Cola Enterprises – “The Good and The Bad”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Brand Recognition, good company benefits including 3 weeks off a year, 401k match, looks great on your resume, many products to offer the company, company laptop, company cell phone and company car, no real supervision since always being in the field so work at your on pace. Every tri semester if all sales goals are met at 100% then a 3000 bonus pre tax, 90 % 2000, 80% $1000.
Cons
Hourly wage of $18 hour which is low end compared to rest of the industry. Long hours which start for me at 6:30 am and typically got till about 4:30. Company direction seems to change weekly where the emphasis might be penetration of a certain product one week then another the next. The company car is not free where they take $70 a month out of your check. Lots of paper work for everything and anything, poor communication across all channels at times from drivers to sales to management. Lots of driving on the average 60 miles a day. Only way for pay increase to apply to BDM position, DM, and above. Because of Poor economy most tri semester bonuses are not being met so no bonus.
Advice to Senior Management
Luckily I have the best DM you could ask for who is realistic and communicates well with her team. I can't say the same for some of the other ones in the office.
