Cognizant Tech Solutions – “Cognizant - good at some places, worst at most”

Pros

-Remuneration for lateral hires is good in US
-When compared to other offshore IT vendors ,Benefits are good .
- in these tumultuous times , compared to American counterparts , Job stability is much better
-Client list is impressive and there is some quality work in niche verticals.
-Though the crowd is predominantly from south east Asia they have the ability to attract talent from NA, something that the other Indian offshore counterparts lack .
- They do Green card processing for people interested to stay in US.

Cons

- Work life balance is not honored , i think the reason for that is their onsite teams are understaffed , if they require 4 resources they will try to manage with 2
- Calls with offshore teams at night sucks big time , you are left with very little personal time

Advice to Senior Management

I would like to see more diversity in the company
